OUR BELIEFS

Our beliefs shape everything we do, from how we worship to how we serve our community

WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that faith is the foundation for a life of freedom and fulfillment. Guided by the Great Commission, the Great Commandment, and the Great Compassion, we strive to love God deeply, love others selflessly, and serve our community wholeheartedly. Together, we create ripples of change that extend far beyond our walls, touching lives and lifting spirits.

OUR VALUES
Beliefs that unite us
01
Great Commission
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age. MATTHEW 28:19-20
02
Great Commandment
And he said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets. MATTHEW 22:37-40
03
Great Compassion
Then the King will say to those at his right hand, ‘Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see thee hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and give thee drink? And when did we see thee a stranger and welcome thee, or naked and clothe thee? And when did we see thee sick or in prison and visit thee?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.’ Then he will say to those at his left hand, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. MATTHEW 25:34-41
04
Light of the World. City on a Hill
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. MATTHEW 5:14-16
05
Called to Live in Freedom
For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love be servants of one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself. MATTHEW 5:13-14
06
Servant Leadership
But Jesus called them to him and said, ‘You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great men exercise authority over them. It shall not be so among you; but whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave; even as the Son of man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. MATTHEW 20:25-28

PURPOSE + CONNECTION + GOD
BIBLICAL TRUTHS WE STAND ON
At Freedom Hill Church, our faith is rooted in the teachings of Jesus and the foundational truths of Scripture. We are guided by the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20), which calls us to make disciples of all nations, the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40), which teaches us to love God and love others, and the Great Compassion (Matthew 25:34-41), which compels us to serve those in need. We believe in living out our faith daily, demonstrating God’s love through both words and actions. As followers of Christ, we seek to be a light in the world (Matthew 5:14-16), embodying His grace, truth, and transformational power.
We are called to live in the freedom given to us by Christ (John 8:36) and to serve one another in love (Galatians 5:13-14). Our church embraces servant leadership (Matthew 20:25-28), where greatness is found in humility and service. Through worship, prayer, and acts of kindness, we strive to create a community where faith is active and lives are changed. Our beliefs are not just principles but a way of life, shaping our hearts, our relationships, and our impact on the world. At Freedom Hill Church, we are committed to faith in action—walking in truth, loving unconditionally, and serving wholeheartedly.
